  • 32 oz marinara sauce
  • ½ pound Italian sausage
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into thick slices)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage until fully cooked.
  2. Stir in the marinara sauce and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta with Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Spoon a layer of meat sauce into four ramekins.
  5. Add about ½ cup of the ricotta mixture on top of the meat sauce.
  6. Top each ramekin with more meat sauce and a slice of mozzarella cheese.
