  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • Oil spray or brush
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine almond flour, oregano, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add mozzarella and cream cheese to the bowl and microwave for 45 seconds; stir. Microwave again until melted (about 45 seconds more). Mix until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the egg into the dough until fully absorbed.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 pieces; roll each into logs and form knots.
  6. Place on the baking sheet, brush lightly with oil, and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
  7. Broil briefly after brushing with melted garlic butter mixed with minced garlic and sprinkle parmesan on top.
