  • 2 pounds flank steak
  • 4 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (or liquid aminos)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips and place in a mixing bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together coconut oil, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and vinegar. Pour over the steak to marinate.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and sear for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining sesame oil and chopped broccoli along with the rest of the marinade. Cook for another 5 minutes until broccoli is vibrant and tender.
